1. Confidentiality and professional responsibility
Through Cadence you may view client names, contact details, matter information, and other confidential or privileged material. You agree to (a) access only what you need for firm work, (b) maintain client confidentiality consistent with your obligations under the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct, (c) not share your login or export firm or client data outside approved firm channels, and (d) not use Cadence for any unlawful purpose.
2. Cadence is a tool, not legal advice
Cadence is a workflow and reference tool. Its outputs - including routing suggestions, drafted emails, assembled documents, and calculator results - are aids to your independent professional judgment, not legal advice and not a substitute for your own review. You are responsible for reviewing and approving anything Cadence prepares before it is sent, filed, or relied upon.
3. Child Support Calculator disclaimer
The Child Support Calculator produces an estimate based on the current Colorado statute (C.R.S. § 14-10-115) as implemented in the tool. It is not legal advice and not a court-verified figure. Always verify every result against the current statute and the official Colorado Child Support Guideline Worksheet before advising a client, filing, or relying on it.
4. Proprietary software; acceptable use
Cadence is CoreForge Consulting’s proprietary software, licensed to the Firm. You may use it for firm work only. You may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or attempt to extract Cadence’s underlying logic, templates, or data, and you may not upload malicious code or attempt to bypass its access controls.
5. Independent-contractor acknowledgment
If you are a contract attorney, your use of the Cadence attorney portal is for firm workflow only and does not create or alter any employment relationship with the Firm or CoreForge. Your engagement is governed solely by your independent-contractor agreement with the Firm.
6. No warranty
Cadence is provided "as is," without warranties. Report any error or security concern to the Firm promptly.
